Rediscover Piano Masterpieces!
At a recent concert in my city, a Russian pianist played Tchaikovsky't "Troika", also known as "November". The audience loved it, but few knew the name of this beautiful, very playable work. Actually, Tchaikovsky composed a piece for each month of the year, giving each short work the special character of its season. At one time they were played very often, but then, for some unknown reason, they seemed to disappear. While I knew "Troika", the other works are a marvelous discovery for me. I have already assigned one of the pieces to an adult student. While some are quite easy, they require feeling and musicianship to play well.

The Seasons
I bought this book primarily for myself but already have two students working from it. We are all enjoying the music immensely. While it is a wonderful teaching tool, this book is technical enough for more experienced pianists to enjoy. If you like this work, you might also enjoy Anatoly Lyadov's Prelude Op. 40 No. 3 in D minor.

Great Tchaikovsky Works
I bought this book for my 11 year old daughter. It's legal for use in competitions. Notes are clear and easy to read. Great to have all 12 pieces in one book and at a great price too!

The Seasons
I am a 13 year old pianist, and I bought these to play some original Tchaikovsky Intermediate Piano Works. This edition is easy to read and learn.
