Wonderful piece
A fabulous piece of music. Good edition. The vocal ranges, especially for the men, are rather expanded on the upper end, so it needs strong voices to carry it off successfully. Both piano parts are quite straightforward.

heart-stirring
this is an amazing piece. I sang in a choir of over 200 and the director shared a heart-warming story about the piece relative to Sept. 11. It starts out slow and graceful, and builds to a distinctive American sound of fourths and fifths, climaxing in a breathtaking unison declaring...
