The Pink Panther by Henry Mancini. Arranged by Arthur Frackenpohl. For tenor saxophone solo with piano accompaniment. Grade 3. Published by Kendor Music Inc (KN.11620).

Marked "groovy misterioso," this clever arrangement opens with finger snaps before the famous Mancini movie theme begins. An optional 8-bar improvisation section is included (written notes also provided) before the solo comes to a quiet close.

The Pink Panther

This is great! I did some sax demos for a few elementary students and they LOVED IT!! Even though I'm not a great player, they kept asking me to play it again.

good song - too difficult

It was a little too advanced for a high-schooler. Ended up putting it aside for future use perhaps.
