I actually think the songs sounds good on piano. Some of them you need to sing to, like Beautiful day or Electrical Storm, cause the melody line is not included in the comp. The songs I found most interesting and I thought worked best on the piano is 'Miracle Drug',...

Great for bands
Its a great book if you play in a band because its basically just the "skeleton" of the music, so all you have to do is add fills. I agree though, it deffinately wouldn't be good for a piano solo.

pretty good
I disagree i thought that this was a good book, if you are a fan of u2. it includes there song Octoberr from their second album which is beautiful and was written for the piano. i really liked this book

Maybe I am being unfair, but these songs really sound very basic on the piano. There is not much to them. I know they are not written for the piano, nor is U2 known as a "keyboard group" but just by playing them on the keyboard alone you will be...
