Fun stuff
Ok most musical books for solo instrument require accompaniment. This doesn't. Most musical books have altered the original pitch and rhythm it makes me want to find the publisher/arranger and give them a hearing test. Not this one. While the music is super easy (I've been playing for about 12 years), it is fun and relaxing music. It is worth the $7 it costs.

for fans, nice to have
i think it's very cool to have this book. if you are a big fan of the phantom of the opera, than is it very cool that you can play a lot of songs of it. some parts are easier than others, but if you practise enough, will everything become okay.

The Phantom of the Opera
I love playing this piece of music. It is fun and beautiful. Although, some of the songs are shortened and it left me wanting to play more. It is easy to play and I thoroughly enjoy it - time and time again.

Visualize the scenes
I am greedy and wanted more tunes in the book. An accompaniment book would have been an additional bonus.

Listen to This!
This may be easy, but it is worth it. I just got my copy and took it to band today. People were looking through it and asking for the web-address so they could get it! I love this even if its easy.(I have been playing ever since 6th grade) I plan to play this in my school music department's spring concert.

should release the movie version...
I was excited when I first recieved this...but my joy turned upside down when I saw how EASY all the notes were. I myself had to change the notes up an octave to make it, "some what" a challenge. Example: Angel of Music. Should had gone up an octave on the last part. I'm dissapointed and hope that perhaps late summer that they will release a movie edition (much more harder) for the clarinet, like they did for the piano. It's nice to play in the beginning, but you will tire of it as your skills advance.

PREPOSTEROUS! ABSOLUTELY INANE!
Ridiculously easy. Clarinetists everywhere deserve a warning against this pointless collection of solos! So many individuals would be so much better off with "A MAJOR WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! QUICK TURN BACK NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!" printed across the front cover. And on a second note, all these disgustingly naïve and frivolous reviews are in no way constructive or beneficial to a single soul browsing throughout advanced literature. The music is an insult to the brilliance of Andrew Lloyd Webber and his passion.

AWESOMENESS!!
i really enjoyed this book, and most of the songs were easy, but Masquerade threw me off a little because it is basically all sixteenth notes. But, that should happen, as i'm only 13, and I've only played the clarinet for 5 years...

Not too bad for Clarinetists
The songs are all beautiful and definitely do justice to the play, however, I needed to octivate all of them for even the slightest excercise to my amateur. It would be better if he had also written an advanced level songbook to progress to after this one, because the piano and vocal parts are more difficult and have varying levels also.

A must own!
If you like the Phantom of the Opera you'll LOVE this book. It dose't have all the songs from the play but it has the good ones. This book helped me a lot in terms of learning new notes on my clarinet and I am just a beginner. There are only two difficult songs: Masquerade and the very beginning of Phantom of the opera. But now I have mastered it. And you will to...this is a must own.
