Excellent!
A great second book following the classic styles of Evanescence. Great for those who bought and enjoyed their first "Fallen". A must buy for any Evanescence fan!!

one word.....AMAZING!!!!!!
I am a HUGE Evanescence fan, and if you love their music and you want sheet music that is IDENTICAL to the actual recording, then this book is it. I played lithium in a piano concert at my college and i swear the song is note for note with the actual recording, and it is singable too... every song in this book is amazing and beautiful, and after playing piano for 10 years, i have never found a song book with an arrangement this precise and beautiful, it is everything you could want... so buy it! it is my favorite or all my books, even alicia keys and it is better arranged than her music too. luv it!

Oh, it's just AMAZING!!!
This album is unbelievble, but you know what's also great? The piano book! It's always nice to see books that sound JUST like th original recording. Playing the music has really made me appreciate the album more, too. My favorite song on the album is "Your Star," but although it's a very fun song to play, "Good Enough" is what really just captivates you entirely. You can only play "Good Enough" beautifully if you're familiar with the song. I'd reccomend "The Only One" for beginners, "Lacrymosa" for easy-intermediate, "Lithium" for intermediate, and "All that I'm Living For" and "Sweet Sacrifice" at a slightly difficult area. This is a fantastic book. It's an eyeopener to the talent of Evanescence (NOT JUST AMY LEE!)Thanks, Ev. This book rocks. However, you can only really like it if you loved the album like me.

A Great album, and now your opportunity to play it
It's really hard to really expect a rock album to be easily playable sheet music for piano, but if your a fan of Evanescence, and the music Amy Lee creates then this would be a great find. All the songs that were dominated by piano will be easy and a blast to practice. Almost any piano in any song are scripted. And even choir arrangements in "Lacrymosa."

powerful, thoughtful, lyrical music
I'm basically a beginner pianist and enjoy tinkering with music when I'm stressed (instead of misusing other measures).

Great detail!
A comprehensive look at every song from the CD! I am not a pianist, but I was able to navigate through all the songs and their respective chord charts.

GOOD
This book is great. You problly will need to have experience with guitar and know how to read tab and chord charts. If you do get this book. Most songs are accurate with minor changes here and there. easiest song to learn is problly The Only One. Very simple song with mostly simple chords with a one string chrous. Hardest song was Your Star, you have to be patient with that song. The other good thing about this book it helps you appreciate more Terry as a song writer. Espically in your star. That was amazing. GET the book if u wanna learn, its good and easy.

Overall, a very good transcription
I love Evanescence, and I've been playing the piano for six years, so I decided to buy this book. In general, it's very well, although there are some things I'd change. Call Me When You're Sober is, in my opinion, too simple. The transcription of the acoustic session could have been done, instead of the one appearing in the book. Lithium, as well as Your Star and Good Enough are just perfect songs for piano. For those who have just begun playing, Like You and Snow White Queen are OK. The Only One would be somewhat more difficult. Lacrymosa has got the vocal, piano and the SATB voices. Finally, Lose Control should only be appropiate for those who'd like to 'lose control' and go crazy with lots of accidentals here and there. It also contains chords, secondary voices, lyrics (in the sheet music, as well as in separate pages) and photographs of Amy Lee and the rest of the band. If you like it, you'll probably also like the "Fallen" songbook, from their first album.

Accessible for the 4-5th year student
Easier than the Open Door. But still takes some practice for younger students. Highly recommend for fans of Amy Lee's.

Amazing Songs!
About half the songs in this book are truly amazing to play. Particularly, "Lithium" and "Good Enough" are well arranged and fun. "Lacrymosa" is great too, as you can experiment with the way it's laid out. One of the best piano books.

Amazing!
The purchase came sooner than expected, which was wonderful. The sheet music is AMAZING! It not only comes with sheet music, but lyrics and pictures as well (just like in the CD case). Shouldn't be disappointed in the least. Definatly a great purchase to make.

Nice Collections from the Album
"The Open Door" seems to be a nice sheet music book--I've wanted it since the publication. This website is a pretty convenient place for shopping sheet music... [...]
