JOURNEY ROCKS!!!

This book is awesome. The keys are all true to the keys that the band actually uses (I don't know what the guy from Walla Walla was talking about) some songs are very close to the actual piano part, though some just by the lyrics in chords (but then again, what book doesn't these days). I was very pleased to find all of Journey's great hits, with even more than the 'greatest hits' collection, including the underrated masterpiece, "I'll Be Alright Without You", with seems unique just to this book. I am a Journey fan, have been my whole life, and I highly recommend this book.

Beginner Level Journey

Not accurate in terms of score (trueness to the original Journey recordings), but enjoyable nonetheless. Designed for the beginning musician, this book satisfies the more advanced musician in terms of ease of sight-reading. In the end, worth the purchase price for the Journey fan.

Great Arrangements

I bought the book because I was going to take part in a Journey tribute band playing keyboard. The book was of great help because all the songs were in the original keys and had the essential keyboard parts of the original recordings. It's also great for playing the songs in a solo setting. Excellent purchase!

Journey charts - Pretty close

Overall this book is very close, some of the chords voicing chosen are not the same as the artist used when writing the song. Jonathan Cain keyboards charts are on the money. However Neal Schon's guitar chords are quite different that his compositions.

disappointing

After not having played for over 20 years I began rediscovering my "fingers" through a couple of popular books arranged by Dan Coates. This one, however, contained too many sharps and flats in too many songs for me to play at my current level. I felt it was under rated in its level of difficulty.

Dude! Totally Awesome

This is a great greatest hits book for Journey I played it along with my cd and it sounded great. My only complaint is that the book doesn't have the guitar solos.

Very satisfied

...that I bought this book. They did a nice job on the arrangements. I don't play the piano, I used this book for my voice class, and am going to sing "open arms" in an upcomming concert. One thing though is that it is really challenging to hit the high notes, which makes this really good for developing your voice.
