at last !! but please give us MUCH more!

Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil are one the best songwriting teams EVER, and their MOR tendencies in the last 2 or 3 decades (as opposed to the Brill Building years of constant brilliance) will never harm their legacy (furthermore, they still can deliver, even in that "adult-oriented" context). Why they had to wait four decades to get a proper anthology gets beyond me, but this is another reason to celebrate! On the other hand, why this first-ever (correct me if I'm wrong) anthology only contains 23 tunes is one of the truly great mysteries of life. I believe Barry Mann is a genius, and a 23-song collection will simply fail to reflect that in a comprehensive way. Where are - random picks of personal favorites - "Magic Town", "Looking Through The Eyes Of Love", "Livin' It up", or the lyrically groundbreaking "Chico's Girl"? (OK, the latter is lesser-known so I didn't really expect it to be included here anyway!) in other words, give us more!
