The Maelstrom...
We played this song in our Wind Ensemble at school. The wind ensemble consists of 8th, 7th, and a few qualified 6th graders as myself. It was probably one of the hardest songs we played and everyone said that it was the coolest song they ever heard a school band...

Memorable
This piece was done at a middle school (7th & 8th graders) festival where the students had 14 hours to practice. Most students were chosen to perform by thier teachers and had not rehearsed together as a group prior to the 14 hours (accomplished over 3 days) of rehearsal. My...

and we play this peoce for concert band, and it is an incredible piece! as a sax player i love the slow sax solo at the beginning, after which the piece slowly progresses into a fast, and extremely forceful piece

Wow
This song is very interesting. It starts off slow with a sax solo. Next, a mellow awakening chord by the woodwinds. Then all of a sudden it's a wonderful, beautiful storm of fast paced chaos. It's a very, very good song for any band!
