Good Book, Good Variety
I have had the book for close to twenty years, and find it valuable for its variety and especially for the two Joe Lamb rags. Joe was my grandfather's cousin. His work isn't easy to find these days and I wanted to give the book to a young grand niece...

My introduction to Ragtime
I haven't played piano for 32 years and I wanted to get back into it, mostly classical. I found the Joy of Classical Music at a local store and loved it. I found the list of books on the back cover so chose Ragtime for the fun of playing something...

Very Nice, Gradual Intro to Ragtime
I have had this book for a number of years, and still find myself referring to it. It includes relatively easy versions of classics like "The Entertainer" and "Black and White Rag" to get you started, and works its way up to the original versions of such things as Joplin's...
