good fun
Excellent teaching. Gives background on Jimmie and the recordings, and fun techniques for introductions and colorful runs. The yodels are wonderfully musical and I find myself playing them over and over again--O del ay ee ay lay ee oh lay ee.

This book is everything it promises to be with a great insight into Jimmie Rodger's music and playing style. I bought the book knowing that one of his best songs ("Waiting For A Train"), would not be in it, and if it were, I'd easily have rated this book with...

I love the man, and this delivers!
This is a must have for anyone who's into Jimmie Rodgers style of playing. It's so well put together and shows you some of his catchy little tricks. As in 'The Carter Family Collection' this book is a mine of information about the songs and the man himself. Go get...
