Smokey Joe's Cafe is a musical revue dedicated to the songs of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, the legendary songwriting team whose compositions dominated radio in the early days of rock and roll. Nominated for five Tony Awards, the show opened on March 2, 1995 and ran for 2,036 performances. The production is a loving tribute to the golden age of rock and roll and so is this karaoke collection! Sing ten timeless songs that were originally made famous by artists like Ben E. King, The Coasters, Elvis and more.
Each Pocket Songs PSCDG album contains a complete performance with a professional vocalist as well as the karaoke tracks of each song, for the at-home performer. CDG discs can be played on a regular CD player but require a CDG player to see the graphics.

This arrangement was great for our purpose, but in the song "Stand by Me", it has a middle section that is very "electronic". It doesn't match a lot of the songs. You can tell that this Cd was arranged electronically (no orchestra or band).
