OK, not every song in this collection is first-rate: I find this minor warning to be mandatory given Arlen's untouchable genius status (yes, Arlen happens to be slightly overrated in that I find him on auto-pilot or self-indulgent frame of mind on too many occasions) BUT there's no denying that...

Harold Arlen Songbook

Fantastic book. Several songs I didn't even know he wrote. A wide range of song types to choose from. Over 70 songs! Some great photos. Songs categorized alphabetically, by show and by year.
