Good backing music
As a vocal selection book goes, this is very much for people who are familiar with the songs and want to sing along or play along to a CD. The melody line doesn't really feature at all, so although it's great fun to play, and if you're familiar with the music, it sounds fabulous as the arrangements are very close to the band parts; be warned that if you are playing for pleasure, you might get complaints from anybody who doesn't know it listening in, as it can be rather repetitive in places!

Worth the Money
This book, along with the selections to 'Hairspray' and 'Footloose', is one of the few books to contain most (if not all) of the vocal parts in each song. This book is close to being the vocal score, as it contains all of the show's music (minus dance breaks in the songs). This show has great rock music and is a great score for both men and women. A must have for any modern musical lover. Buy this book over the other "highlights version"-- this has all the music and better accompaniment... worth the extra three bucks.
