Good value and quality!
I prefer notation and this was familiar stuff. Still I only had some Tarrega notes here and there so I wanted some clean notes. It is not easy to make a collection from Tarrega but Paul Henry has done a nice pick. I didn't expect much from an enclosed CD but I am impressed with his playing. Very inspiring. It is sometimes nice I admit to have the tabs there, just not used to it. I would start out with some of the waltzes (Gran Vals) and work up from there. The fingering is very good on most pieces but I personally did not like the "Recuerdos.." version. Every classical guitar student must play some Tarrega and this book is a nice value. I put this to difficulty level "Intermediate/advanced" but it depends on what your goals are to play. I put got this for an intermediate student hoping it would last for a long time!

Very Pleased
I was more than pleased to get my Tarrega Collection book; I have been playing the guitar for more than 30 years, but never as seriously and with as much pleasure as at the present, now that I am retired and I can really enjoy life in the "slow lane". I like romantic Latino music (boleros, ballads), rock'n-roll, and some country music but I had never tried classical music until I found Mr. Maurice Trevor's site, with all the free lessons and transcriptions I could ever wish for; there are a lot of Tarrega's selections, but I wanted to have everything in a book and a DVD, which is how I ended up buying this great title. I will continue buying great books like this as soon as I learn some or all of the selections in my book. The transcriptions are very accurate in relation to the music in the disc, and to me it represents a great opportunity to learn to read music also.

Tablature is great if you don't read music.
The Tablature for these pieces was very useful to a person who has been playing for 40 years with no formal tuition, although I had to alter the fingering as I have small hands. The CD is useful but unfortunately some pieces such as Estudio Brilliante are played too quickly thereby loosing the flavour and beauty of the music in the race to the finish.

Great book
Despite other's opinions, Paul Henry is an exceptional classical guitarist and this book has been a tremendous help for me. A must-have for any Tarrega fan.

Inspirational!
Some pieces are a bit over my ability but the recording is a great source of inspiration. Some of the selections are (for me) a reasonable goal while others give me a challenge to strive for a next level

Some of the best music from Tarrega
The song selection is great, but don't be fooled by thinking that Paul Henry is a decent guitarist. Listen to the recordings to get an idea of how the peice sounds, but not for expression. Make sure the fingerings are correct as well. There are some occasions where they are terrible. This book is very good, just be careful and trust your own judgement.

Useful.. if u have no technique troubles
Being a classical guitar student I found this book very usefull. Although it does not mention any helpfull technique text the CD can help you adapt some difficulties you may have. If you have trouble with any technique I suggest you to buy a classical technique book along with these classical and amazing pieces written by Tarrega, arranged in this book.
