Here is the classic which sits atop the Baroque literature for violin and orchestra. Magnificent in every way, and well worth the effort to learn. Master virtuoso Michael Metelka performs this perennial classic, then he steps aside and you take your place as soloist with the magnificent Czech Symphony Chamber Orchestra under Maestro Mario Klemens. A joy to perform, as well as to listen to; it will delight you for a lifetime! Includes high-quality printed music and two compact discs with the complete work with soloist in split-channel stereo (soloist on right channel for easy isolation); then a second recording in full stereo of the accompaniments, minus the soloist. Conductor: Mario Klemens. Soloist: Michael Metelka, violin. Ensemble: Czech Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

Good Study Aid
The A is very high and is a little out of tune with the actual accompaniment, and the pulse is hard to hear on account of the excessive reverb and quiet cello. But... This is a fun way to get kids to practice. the slower tempo is a good tool....
