First Noel/pachelbel's canon

A beautiful alternative to a traditional Christmas Carole.

Heavenly Piece

I had the priviledge of singing "The First Noel / Pachelbel's Canon" in a SAT trio many years ago, and I've never forgotten the heart-stirring beauty of this wonderful arrangement.

perfect for church christmas service

Our church choir performed this today--absolutely lovely. Mixed ability, 16-18 members, a few weeks to learn, one pianist, one organist--yes, 16th notes were doable! Piano/organ was nice combination. Only problem: choir gets mesmerized by the beauty of the first several measures of the canon and forgets to come in!

Absolutely Beatiful Piece!

I directed a choir of about 30-40 people singing this piece, and it was absolutely amazing. We had two boys (ages 11 and 13) play the violin part, and I can't explain how beautifully it came together. It was the highlight of the entire evening.

Love it!

I love this arrangement- 2 favorites combined beautifully, just as the other reviews I read had said. I was also able to get our essentially beginner choir singing it in less than 2 rehearsals.
