Fun to play

You won't find any guitar kiros (ha, get it cause they use that word on the c.d) from this book. But the songs are catchy and fun to play. It was a great idea to have the music for this cd in a book, this is the first cd that has songs that someone on the internet may tab out wrong.

This Is Challenging!!!!

Ron are you crazy?? All pop-punk is so hard. I've been playing the guitar for 5 years and everything seems so challenging...and most pop-punk songs have at least 4 chords, not 3 chords. This book is very challenging, so get it!

Easy as pie

This album should have been named "POWER CHORDS!". That is simply all that Tom ever plays. (Except for that little run in "Responsibility"). As far as the music goes, well, it's better than your standard run-of-the-mill garbage "Pop Punk" such as Blink 182. Having said that, all a punk song consists of is three chords anyway. The Transcriptions are perfect, obviously... any deaf five year old can hear what they're doing on this album. It's kind of amazing that after all those years, MxPx is still your power chord machine. Oh well. Get this to impress your friends who don't play the Guitar. Oh, one thing- Tom has really got the whole Pick Slide thing down. Work on that.

Fun Punk Guitar

This is a really good book. It is not too difficult but Wisniewski throws in things here and there too make it interesting. There is also some full guitar chords which most punk guitarists don't use so it gives you practice with real chords. Buy this book.

good punk

the book was right on for all the songs. That wouldn't be real hard considering the overall basic make up of all the songs. This is a good book for someone who likes punk and wants to improve from a beginning level.
