great collection
I bought this collection because it had a few pieces that I didn't have in other books. The music is complex enough to be interesting and easy enough so that pieces don't take a long time to learn.

I am a bit dissapointed. The arrangement I was looking for was not in this collection. I was looking for "Tell Me on a Sunday" and the one in this edition was too simplified, primarily chordal. I finally found what I wanted in "Torch Songs" for Broadway.

Broadway Collection
Some of these scores were a bit hard for sightreading (eg. Don't cry for me, Argentina) and I was a bit disappointed with the high pitching of some, which I'm having to laboriously transpose to a key suitable for my friends' (and my) normal register voices, also sad to find...

Broadway - too contemporary
If one could see a complete lisr of the contents, one would be better able to select the book of choice, - this may be a definitive collection for Andrew Lloyd Weber et al, but I would have loved to see more Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter,etc. [Editor's note: The...
