Great for both playing and arranging
The transcriptions are a nicely done. A good base for further arranging. If you want to play the song as they are, you have to copy the parts yourself by hand of computer. It takes some time but that’s fare according to the price of the book.

Just like the recordings! FABULOUS!
I haven't played all the songs all the way through, but looking at them and listening to Spyro Gyra's recordings they are true- to-the-album 'Dean-On' arrangements. This is perfect for the small jazz band that wants some great ready-to-play tunes! I'm a guitarist and I found the Guitar parts great!...
