        The Beatles For Jazz Piano

        Tasty chords inside clean arrangements turn Beatle's standards into warm evenings at the keyboard. Particularly nice on electric piano - thick and lovely.

        Half-baked

        Lots of good ideas here, but these are not full-fledged arrangements. The verses and choruses repeat note-for-note and there are no codas. You can definitely learn about jazz harmony and rhythm in this book, but it's only about two steps up from the lead sheet.

        Solid non-traditional arrangements

        If you like the Beatles and like lots of 11th and 13th chords, this is the book for you. The arrangements have a nice improvised sound to them, and don't take too much practice to play smoothly.

        Excellent work, sophisticated

        I have gotten a lot of joy out of these arrangements.
