ABCs of Bass bk 2 is excellent

I use this book every day along with the Simandl book and cover a lot of ground. The Simandl was too daunting in the beginning and my teacher suggested the easier ABCs of Bass Book 1. It all worked out perfectly. This ABCs of Bass Book 2 teaches 10 positions....

very good double bass book

I just started in this book after completing the first book which is really good. I look forward to learning all the new positions and lots of popular melodies and exercises.

really good book

lotta good melodies to play. Position charts easy for me to understand. Every scale needed is included. Covers many techniques. Very satisfying for intermediate to advanced player like me.
