The importance of Francisco Tarrega in the history of the classic guitar is immeasurable. With his original compositions and transcriptions, Tarrega brought the classical guitar to new heights by giving it a repertoire of its own and consequently influencing virtually every modern day classical guitarist. In this volume, Ben Boldt presents 29 pieces by Tarrega in standard notation and tablature. Titles include: Lagrima; Preludes in G, A, and D major; Danza Mora; Marieta! (Mazurca); Mazurca en sol; Maria; Minuetto; Adelita (Mazurca); Pavana; La Alborada; Capricho Arabe; and many others. Text in English, Spanish, French, and Japanese.

Great with tablature for those who don't read music
With the tablature there are too many times needed to turn pages. Wish there was a section of the same pieces w/o tablature so it would be easier to read by those of us who read music.

Hat's off Ben Bolt!
Besides being a Ben Bolt fan of many years, the most informative impression of this book is; It's simplicity of delivery. I am literally able to sound like Segovia one, two, three. The Capricho Arabe is the best I've ever heard Ben Bolt do. I'm not a concert guitarist, however...
