My thoughts

Ok honestly I have only been playing the guitar for 3 monthes self taught and I found some of these songs hard and some easy. Now you might think that im dumb but I thought that Story of A Lonely Guy & Stay Together for the kids was really easy. And I found Give Me One Good Reason & Please Take me home hard. Hope this helps

Awesome book!

I am a beginner guitar player, and have really enjoyed this book. I think may favorite song in the book is "Online Songs", though at first I didn't like it. Its fairly easy to learn, and just a cool song...cool intro too, and also sounds good with one guitar. I find "Shut Up" to be a cool song, but some of the power chords up around the 19th fret are hard to reach.

High

If you really like Blink and liked playing the guitar then it really wouldn't matter what any of these reviews say you would go and buy the book Even so this is a really good book and it might take you a while to learn the songs but once you do you can play along with Blink and that is the coolest feeling in the world

Blink-182 is the best!

This is very accurate and I suggest it to Blink fans and beginners at the guitar. This book is missing 6 songs though. It includes tracks 1-13 from the CD, but it does not have any of the bonus songs. (What Went Wrong; Time to Break Up; etc.)

Great book

This book is extremely accurate and the blink songs though cool where easy. But hey thats not the books fault.Ive been playing for about 7 months now and i picked up all the songs in a week perfectly except for Reckless Abandon and Stay together for the kids which takes more memorization cause of the like 1 sorta hard parts that need some practice overall though it was awesome and easy to pick up

Awesome

I'm a big Blink fan, and I have been with them since Buddha, but I dont care if they are famous or anything, they still make good music. I bought this book, and I have like 2 months of guitar expirence, and a few of the songs are hard for me, like Reckless Abandon, but I got the hang of it, just practice.

MUY FACIL Y CONTIENE ALGUNOS ERRORES

Very easy, but a good way to learn and practice 5th chords, the book has a little mistakes (in anthem part II), if you want to learn the real punk rock , buy the offspring americana, great! if you are a blink's fan, buy it.

what?

Ok I see a lot of people saying that this book is too easy. Well yes, obviously if you have ever listened to the album you would KNOW it was easy. So get over it and face the fact that you have no ear training whatsoever. To everyone else (excluding wanna-be metalheads): if you are a Blink 182 fan and you want to learn the songs, then buy the book. If you don't like Blink, then dont buy the book (obviously). I can see how that would be a very hard decision. Great book, very accurate, its worth the $20.

Take Off Your Pants and Buy It

This is a great book. It's not hard, but the riffs are awesome. A lot of the songs in this book have two guitars but most of the songs still sound good just played as one. Get this book, it's good.

I'm sorry too.

I agree with that one dude. It is too EASY! I am a huge fan of Blink 182 but the guitar stuff is too easy! If you still want to play punk rock but more difficult stuff I would suggest these bands; Sum 41, MxPx, and The Offspring. See, These bands have something called uh.......uh.....GUITAR SOLOS where u bend notes and do hammer ons, I not sure if u blink fans know that. Don't waste your money on this book!

I'm sorry, but i just have to say it

Ok, here's the deal, i'm a big blink fan who is a pretty decent guitar player and this book is just WAY TOO DAMN EASY! I can't believe i shelled out 20 bux for this! Blink's still a great band and Take off you pants is still a great album, but trust me, if you have any kind of guitar skill whatsoever, you don't need to buy this book. I wish they had a book for chesire cat because M+M's is their hardest song to play, especially accurately. PLEASE TRUST ME AND DON'T BUY THIS BOOK! It's only 60 pages!!!! you'll become a better guitar player figuring these (easy) songs out for yourself. Spend your 20 bux on the sum 41 or mxpx tab books, they offer a bit of a challenge. Remember easier is not necassarily better.

Better than UNBELIEVABLE

After "Enema..." pushed this punk band's momentum over the Millenium hump, Mark and Tom push the pace up a notch with this classically original "Take Off... and JACK It" album. HL has put into print the essence of this band's music created from experiences that anyone across generational and political boundaries can relate. The ease of playing these tunes is matched only by the passion of singing along with them while blasting this CD from your car stereo. With Mark's driving punk bass and Tom's single bridge humbucker/volume knob only combination, the Blink guys take the seriousness out of their own personalities and put it into their geniusly uncomplicated music. Spending a mere $20 on this book is little cost to stand in their shoes and feel yourself play the music they've created. I recommend this to anyone who is serious about playing real music from this era, and I look forward to playing Blink 182's future works as well!!!
