great medley...but
This medley is very nice but there are lot of "mistakes" : it is written "as recorded in He is Christmas" but it's not true...It's a shame to publish Take 6 scores without the good harmonies on it. I'd like to add that the 2 systems notation is good to play it on a piano but is not very easy to see who sings what...

Why only two systems?
I'm slightly unfamiliar with english terms for different music and note reading terms, so excuses for any confusion that may cause you. Thia is really good sheet music, except for the very annoying fact that they kept all of the harmonies in only 2 systems (3 in each). This makes for a VERY slow read, it would be so much better with 1 or 2 harmonies in every system. That's the only complaint :) Good sheet music, very much worth the money!

Beautiful and Challenging
This is a very beautifully arranged piece, yet it is a tough feat to pull off. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys Christmas songs as much as I do, and who has a select group of experienced vocalists.

Some Great Jazz
Take 6 is arguably the best contemporary a cappella group out ther today, Christian or otherwise. If you have ever heard their HE IS CHRISTMAS album you know that I speak the truth about the songs in this collection. The reason I did not give it five stars is that it is very difficult to capture the essence of a small group performance with a chamber choir. Walking bass lines and scat on songs like "Silent Night" make it not quite measure up to the Take 6's recording. I will say this, though. Cedric Dent, the group's baritone singer and a docorate in music, has created these fantastic arrangements for the group and I would be more than willing to use "Hark! The Harald" and "O, Come" in any collection of carols in any choir I am with. Nice work Mr. Zegree!
