A fine concert piece

This is a well compiled and scored selection of the best bits from the film. More importantly, it "goes" well in concert (I've conducted it twice now, and it's been popular with the orchestra). John Whitney has made a good job of producing an independent concert piece that has structure and is something more than just a selection. There are some tricky bits - and the leader needs to be a good player - but it's well within the reach of amateur orchestras.

A Well-Orchestrated Score!

As a Lord Of The Rings Fan, I purchased this score to look how the parts would be orchestrated as to listening with the soundtrack. And boy, this portrayed the score pretty darn good, (SUPERB). I recommend this score to be suitable for advanced middle school students and high school orchestras. Any educators and music teachers should buy this product if your looking for a piece that will put the audience in amazment!

The best from the Fellowship!

This is a condensed version of the actual soundtrack. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to follow along in the music while listenig to the CD. This contains some of the best music in the movie!
