Didn't know the song by it's title....
I bought this song for my son who is teaching himself to play piano...I chose this song because I liked this song. My son had no clue what the song was and wondered why I got it for him...But once he started playing around on the piano with it he said "Oh wow Mom, I know this song and I love this song." He plays parts of it but it is hard for him as he has no piano training...

Review for Superman
A little easier than I would have liked, not much going on with the left hand at all.

Beautiful and Simple
This arrangement of Superman is beautiful. It is extremely well matched with the actual song and it sounds amazing on the piano! It is easy to learn and fun to sing along with. This piece is appropriate for an intermediate player and after you learn it I don't think it will ever leave you fingers.

Recommended with reservations
I thought this was more difficult to play than the 100 years song, but it is still a decent arrangement.

Better Than I expected!
This is my favorite song and I could not wait to learn it when I got it. I jumped right in and already have it down. I took lessons when I was younger but don't have much experience, still this is simple and sounds great!!!

Wonderful Sheet Music
This sheet music is transcribed/arranged very well. If you are a fan of this song, do not delay in picking up this sheet music! It really does the song justice.

Simple
Gives the general idea, its up to the player to expand! as with most sheet music that you can buy! Its awkeard to sing and play because of syncopation but that's not the transcript's fault.

Good Song if you can't sing as high.....
Let's face it not many of us can sing as high as John Ondrasik. This makes a good solo though as it just the melody with a few chords thrown in. Pretty easy. It's the first cool song I learned on the piano...

Great Song
It's a wonderful song. Very fun to play and to make it your own. Some parts of it is bland but it's just a fun and great piece.

Still pretty good
I really like this song, however it isn't as full as 100 years. The left hand is very simple. If 100 Years is too hard for you, though, try Superman!

for piano?
we all love the song but from a keyboard players point of view it does lack depth and requires the player to add more notes in both the left and right hands to give it the substance it needs to make it worth playing and listening to.It is typical of many great songs that have been arranged for sheet music, bands and guitarists/vocalists will get more benefit than a keyboard player because of the thinness in the arrangement

This one's easier
This one's easier than 100 Years. The left hand is very simple, so the song isn't totally in depth. Still it's a very pretty song.

Good for beginners-to-intemediate
I love the song and this arrangement will make it easy for beginners to follow. If you are looking for depth in this arrangement, you probably won't find what you are looking for here. Still a great song. I find that if I improvise around the music using the guitar tabs in lieu of the notes, the song has more oomph and you can make it your own.

ok
this song was ok. i was actually kind of dissapointed because i really liked 100 years, but i wasn't as impressed by Superman. I would recommend buying 100 years rather than this song.

My friend and I both recently got this piece, and we both love it! Five for Fighting did an awesome job with this song and we both absolutely love playing it. I'd definately recomend this song.

not great
The first part of this arrangement is very nice; after about two pages, thought, it just kind of trails off. Because of the lack of rythem and flow, it becomes boring about half-way through. I'm still glad I bought this piece for the beginning, but don't expect too much.

Pretty simple - and sounds that way
This is a pretty simple song to play. The problem is that it doesn't have the full sound that special songs have. Get 100 years instead - another easy song, but it sounds more refined.

This Sucks
This arrangment sucks. This is a great song, but other than the intro which is very accurate the rest of the music is nothing like what the dude is really playing. Its only melody instead of what the piano is really playing. Dont buy this.

Almost Perfect
The song is lovely, and the right hand alone is really pretty, but the arrangement of the song is a little disappointing. Still, I reccomend it if you're up for a bit of a challenge.

Totallly Awesome
I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it on the radio. I was so psyched to see it here on this website. It is a great song. Not very difficult for me. But then again I've been playing for about seven yrs.

Close enough to the real thing
The intro was good although i thought that it would come with the little guitar part but i figured out how to do it anyway so its ok. I was expecting the song to have more..notes wise. The notes seem so basic and so when you play it, it seems bland. But after improvising by using chords it started to sound well.

I just purchased this piece recently, and my word, but it is lovely. The recorded version of this song is beautiful, and one of my favorite songs. I wasn't expecting the sheet music to sound near so much like the recorded version! And even more soft and beautiful. It is a really wonderful song, and great sheet music. I am impressed. Wonderful, wonderful song and sheet music! Five stars, absolutely.

This song kicks
I fell in love with this song the first time i heard it. The opening bars are very soothing and easy on the ear but i'm not so sure about the 'up up and away' part of the song. it is quite difficult to sing and play because it's totally different to the rest of the song. overall the song wasn't too hard to learn with a bit of patience and it's still one of my favourite songs. i'd advise you to buy it. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Pretty Good
This is a GREAT song, but this arrangment lacked something and it had awkward parts in it. It is one of my favorite songs and you can hear the melody pretty well, but it is far too easy. The song saves the arrangment.

Great song
I really love the feel of the song and it is one of the few singles I can listen to on the radio and not get sick of. I really enjoyed how easy it was to learn the piano solo at the beginning, yet how true to the song it sounded but I agree with other reviewers, the arrangement seemed to lack a little in the middle and I didn't really like how the vocal notes appear on the accompaniment line. Some of the chords are awkward, but overall, it's not a bad arrangement and not TOO hard to learn.

Pretty Decent
This song is so pretty and you can impress friends easily with it because its well known and is easier to play than it sounds. Some of the chords are awkward sounding, and there are some part of the music that sound nothing like the real song. Otherwise its awesome, I would definitely reccomend it

Great Song, disappointing arrangement
The melody is true, but the arrangement is disappointing. It seemed to have awkward parts, and places that had 'holes'. Probably a good piece of music to play with a band, but not as a solo instrument.
