amazing Barber!
A very interesting piece, incredible for its brilliance in the panorama of modern chamber music. Why they don't play this?Because it's too diffucult!,not only from a "technical" point of view...unfortunately Barber is a composer often forgotten by european musicians, except some rare case of gorgeous recording(ensemble Wien-Berlin).

Lots of Rehearsal
Attempted this Samuel Barber piece with great expectations. Mistake! We have a talented amateur quintet but all felt that we probably do not have enough rehearsal (weekly) time to do it justice.
