      looks like a great piece to play

      I'm a freshman in college, and I was looking for a piece to play on CC tuba that wouldn't be anything too hard/high, like the Vaughn Williams, or too easy. This piece, from what I can see, gives me plenty of challenges in my playing without it being too overwhelming....

      I really liked the music, however, it would be more helpful if there was a CD a accompany it.

      Solo Ensemble

      I thought that this peice was very helpful for me in general. It improved my tone, range, and resonance. It if also very fun to play.

      Nice Audition Piece

      If you have a C Horn this is a great piece - the C's above the staff (middle C's) should really be resonant, and the G at the end of the first movement will be a lot more in tune open than with the 1-2 fingering on a BBb horn......
