A classic -- not too hard, but good.

The best ever

I played this back when I was in my first year of college in 1993. I loved it so much and play it to this day. I miss playing with my flute teacher who would play the piano part and she was excellent. I did buy the cd and play to that. It is my favorite song to play still after 15 years!

A Hummdinger

Not for the impatient or faint of heart. Very difficult piano licks, but extremely satisfying when mastered. Fortunately, I learned the piano parts back in high school and am now "reviewing" at 43. It's a tough climb back!

THE BEST!

The perfect blend of classical and jazz. Piano part is quite difficult, but learn-able if you've got the experience, ability and patience. I've had the CD for years, and it's fun to play along on the piano with the CD and a set of headphones on. Almost like being in studio! It's my most cherished piece of sheet music.

WONDERFUL!!!

Classic suite that is well-known and loved by all audiences, and tremendously fun to play. My only problem has been finding a pianist with the skill to play it. All my pianist friends complain about the difficulty.

Audience Pleaser

Audiences love this! Listen to Rampall rendition - outstanding. Piano part is more difficult than flute part for obvious reasons. Bass has a great feel - get a group of fairly well seasoned musicians and EVERYONE loves it!

My First Jazz Experience

I bought the album at an old antique store in Casterville, Texas about 2 years ago thinking that the cover would just make a great wall hanging. I put the album in my turn table and was so amazed at the beat and excellent flute. This summer I hope to learn the entire album. I recommend this piece to everyone!

Great!

This is one of the best pieces of music ever written! It's challenging, yet do-able. It's fun and I love playing along with a cd or with friends. It's great!
