This outstanding arrangement captures all of the passion of the original work for piano. Memorable melodies weave their way throughout the ensemble, and colorful techniques, such as strummed pizzicato, bring out the Spanish flavor of this work. Beware of the accidentals! This piece is not a sight read at a loud gig kind of arrangement, but it's perfect for a quiet recital hall due to the need for finesse and dynamic nuance. This is certainly what Albeniz would have intended, had he written this suite for strings.
