        Having taught strings professionally for 16 years now I find Strictly Strings Book 1 and excellent start for any student.         It is really good for Beginners

        It taught me from the basics of handling and holding the violin to more comeplex and fun songs, such as the ever loved Ode to joy, and other beethoven and Bach classics!
