the best there is. best 20 i ever spent
i've been playing guitar for about a year now. some of my friends try to play this and get confused right of the bat which is why i can't rate the difficulty...but i found it straightforward and easy to understand. don't get frusterated with this book cause i spent almost a month alone trying to get "orchids" just right and it was worth every second of my time if you want a book with some great solos, heavy rythem and something not-too difficult this book is well worth your money...it also helped alot with my timing and picking too

Mellow, get it right
First of all Slipknot is metal not Stone Sour.Jim Root is a much better shredder in Slipknot, and Josh Rand is not in the same league as Mick Thompson.Buy this book if you like ballads.

Stone Sour - you can't go wrong
I purchased the Stone Sour tab booking hoping to nail the solos, and main rhythm riffs. If you acually read who helped on the tabbing it says "Josh Rand" which is Stone Sour's rhythm/lead guitar (Both Jim and Josh change roles from Lead to Rhythm like in Blue Study). Overall you are going to need some skills ripping through some rake sweeps, and fast but accurate fretting. Either way use it as a learner. Awesome book!

There's nothing "Sour" about this
This book is great! Do you want to learn a Stone Sour song? Do you need help figuring out a measure or two in a Stone Sour song? Well, you need this book then. If you're a Metal loving Stone Sour fan like I am, get this book!!
