A must have
For any level, you can make it as hard on yourself as you want. It looks a bit boring but so are tone ladders to other instruments I guess. Stick control really improves your command of the sticks. Not only for snare drummers, but also on a kit.

Requires dedication but will not dissapoint
If you have the focus to spend one hour a day with this book, you will definitely see an improvement, no matter your skill level.
