Excellent

This book is excellent. I have enjoyed this book very much. I find songs from the earlier albums more enjoyable since they are typically in easier keys.

At last, the music !!

Generally good, but patchy in parts.I found the later albums eg. Gaucho , to be the most satisfying. Early stuff is not as good. Well worth the money, however, and would function as a starting point for own renditions

A waste of the money

There are big faults in this music collection : The chords which aren't accurate is described in many pages.(especially remarkable for "The Royal Scam" and "Aja") Interludes are often omitted.

Danning The Night Away ....

The chords, the chords -- great big handsful of juicy, jazzy notes. Be ready for some hand stretchers, but also be prepared to discover that the Dan's melodies are more than just convenient hooks from which to hang the hot shot chops of their studio and road players. My experience of these songs is that they are often quite satisfying, even in the limited treatments my own talents allow me to give them. At least one has been transposed from the "as recorded" key and there are occasional little differences between the melody as transcribed and the recorded version. Neither fact has been a hindrance, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the book.
