Accompaniment CD Disappointing
Almost worthless because songs are played WAY too fast. Also, rhythm is not kept steady so it is very difficult to count. Ritardando and fermata seem to be at pianist's discretion rather than as indicated by composer or convention. Thirdly, phrasing does not make sense and, in places where an...

Most thoughtful and affordable anthology
I teach beginning vocal majors and have purchased many music anthologies and books over the years. This continues to be my favorite anthology for my freshmen and sophomore students. It introduces them to well-known composers of various eras, showing their most beloved works, but remaining within a reasonable vocal range....
