This book is rated beginner-intermediate guitar. It should be rated, intermediate-beginner guitar. Meaning that this stuff hardly rates the beginner category. If you play guitar at all, you should be able to breeze through this in a few hours tops. I was very disappointed with this book...however I did order...

I NEED MORE BOOKS LIKE THAT FROM HOWARD
THIS IS AN AMAZING BOOK, I LIKE ITA, I WISH I COULD FIND YOU RAISE ME UP SONG OR THOSE TYPE OF SONG FROM HOWARD WALLACH, I REALLY DONT SOME OTHER BOOKS THAT GIVE SINGLE NOTES TO PLAY, THE ONE FROM HOWARD IS CHALLENGING, I NEED SOME LOVE SONG MUSIC...

Great Starter!
I've just recently begun playing spanish classical music and this book has been an invaluable tool. In terms of difficulty, it is not too bad. Malaguena, Recuerdos de la Alhambra and Asturias Leyenda present quite a challenge as they are full of tremelo picking using alternate fingering. Great book for...

Very Good Book
The reason I bought this book was because of the la paloma. I was hoping it would be the same one Celino Romero is playing on you tube but its not. It is the same melody but played differently. Otherwise the book is just fine. Highly recommended.
