Great!

Great product, arrived very fast in my house here in Brazil, much earlier than expected. The quality is perfect.

Poorly edited

I was familiar with this lovely duet but needed a clean copy for a new performance. I cannot recommend this edition, however: there are at least three errors in the piano part.

Beautiful Piece... with a few errors.

Although this is an undeniably beautiful piece of music, while skimming through it, I noticed that there were extra beats in a measure, after trying for quite some time to find out what was the correct way to play it, I decided to go to the library and compare that particular measure to a book containing the entire vocal score of Lakme. The library's had the correct amount in the measure, and I rewrote the measure in my booklet... but it was quite a bit of hastle... I might suggest that you buy a different version.

The most beautiful soprano duet EVER

While the opera Lakme is'nt anything to go out of your way to see, Delibes did manage to compose the most lyrically beautiful duet for two sopranos in the whole Western repetory. This is a duet that sopranos LOVE to sing and a fabulous concert piece.
