Great music - students love
My 15 year old daughter was actually thrilled to find the piece "Duet" in here after hearing it in ballet class. This is a great book of music for all ages.

Good standard!
Songs without Words is an absolutely beautiful collection of Mendelssohn's works. The edition is heavily edited but over all well done and a pleasure to play.

Fabulous
I am 11 years old and am learning to play Tarantella. I Love the song. When I finish Tarantella I am Going to learn how to play the Vanitian Boat Song in F. This is an amazing collection of Mendelssohns songs without words, I highly recommend it.

a good buy
This is a complete collection of Felix Mendelssohn: Songs Without Words. At the list price, it's a great buy, especially compared to the option of purchasing these individually. You can then combine it with other artists' recordings (e.g., Phillips) to augment your playability. Quality overall is good. I highly recommend it, along with Schirmer series on Chopin and Mozart Sonatas.

Great Music
this music is so nice. i'm 13 and have played the Venetian Boat Song in F# Minor, and i just fell in love with the rest of the pieces. I'm working on the Venetian Boat Song in G minor now. These pieces are one of the most relaxing pieces in the world. Mendelssohn is my IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!
