This piece a very interesting piece, used commonly for lots of auditions, as it displays virtuoso technique and a characteristic flair. This particular version, however, is missing a lot of common notation figures and editing, such as up bows/down bows, when to go sul G, etc. I had to use...

Nice Russian Stuff
This little known piece is quite a challenge, but always very musical, and surprises me that it is not better known and played. I have always loved Prokofiev and this sonata is one of the reasons why. It seems to evolve from a neo-classic theme into something that gets richer...
