A great first contemporary piece for horn players

If you are not particularly fond of contemporary music this is a wonderful piece to start on that will broaden the horizon of your musical taste. It is a great challenge to upperclassmen in high school and a great piece for all-state and college auditions.

Great Piece for Great Players.

Though the music is quite difficult at times, the overall challenge is present throughout the entire three movements. Long phrases, awkward counting, sustained dynamics, all present themselves in this work. Great piece, be prepared to work. VERY difficult for piano as well.
