If you like Yanni, you will love Lanz
I gave this as a gift to my sister, who is an accomplished, although somewhat rusty pianist. She is absolutely thrilled with the music. She played Lanz at a recent family event. I and the rest of the family enjoyed the exhilirating and sometimes unpredictable themes.

Too easy for me, but great as a teaching tool for my more advanced students.

Great Music, DAVID!
Though I only began taking lessons a year ago and this is a bit beyond my level of expertise, I love David's music. I am working on learning "Cristofori's Dream" and look forward to being able to play most of David Lanz's music, he is truly a MASTER at his trade. I also look forward to meeting him and seeing a live performance when he is here in our town in November. I look forward to shaking the hand of a person who has given me so many hours of enjoyment from listening to his CDs.

Calming New Age
I love this book it is the first David Lanz book I got. I highly recommend it if you like this genre of music New Age. It has such a calming feeling. If you don't know who David Lanz is then get this book to try him out, because it includes songs from several different albums by him giving a variety of his compositions in one book. If you like this book I recommend trying others of his. I LOVE them all!!

Love this music
I absolutely love this music. It's fairly easy to play and sounds very full and beautiful rather than like something a "beginner" would play.

Selections allow for reflection and expression
Playing just one selection at night before bedtime has such a calming effect--a perfect end to the day.

Don't forget Heartsounds
Everyone's talking about Cristofori's Dream and Leaves on the Seine, but don't leave out Heart Sounds. That's one of his best. Challenge yourself to master it, you'll be happy you did.

Simply beautiful music!
I've been playing for 7 years and this book is my favorite to play. The songs are beautiful and are great solo pieces. I've played "Cristofori's Dream" and "Leaves On The Seine" many times for public performances and the response is always positive. This is DEFINITELY one to buy!

inspirational beauty
I can't overemphasize David Lanz' amazing gift as a talented artist and composer. His pieces reflect inspiration and beauty. Leaves on the Seine is particularly powerful; it has been my most beloved piano composition for years!

Incredible
Inspiring music. Having been trained in classical and a fan of New Age, I find this music awesome. I will buy all of his music, and the CDs.

Pretty Good
I liked to play Leaves on the Seine and Cristifori's Dream...although the songs become very repetitive. But, David Lanz is a very good composer, I would definitely recommend this book.

Gentle and moving pieces
I enjoy playing many of the songs from this book. Not too many places where there are 10ths I can't reach or find a way to get around. I have learned about half of these songs over the last year. I am always moved by "Leaves on the Seine."

Wonderful!
I first heard David Lanz being played by a student where I work. When I heard the music, I had to find who wrote it and how could I get my hands on this music. Lanz's goal is to inspire piano players and listener's alike. Even my teenagers enjoy it :)

Great!
Anyone who knows about Cristofori will know why David Lanz's song is titled Cristofori's Dream. The song is a challenge to learn, uses the whole keyboard. No pedal indications but a good teacher can help you figure it out. I recommend this song highly. If you've ever heard the song, you'll want to learn to play it!
