This facsimile of an original by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier is part of our French classical music collection. Editions : Opus 28, Paris, 1730 - Opus 37, Paris, 1722. These works may be played on violin, flute or oboe. Certain sonatas, written for the unusual combination of one melody and two bass instruments, require two cellos. Preface by the students of the CeFEdeM-Ile-de-France: The oboe in Boismortier's instrumental music (Nathalie Lechat). Boismortier at the Concert Spirituel (Karen Daniau). Players, form and tempi (Celine Morandeau). The ornamentation of opus 28 and 37 (Marie-Helene Landreau).
Collection supervised by the musicologist Jean Saint-Arroman, professor at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse of Paris and at the CEFEDEM Ile de France (Training Centre for Music Teachers). He is the author of the majority of our prefaces and has also been involved in library searches.
