Misprints
There are a fair number of misprints in this edition (wrong notes & wrong rhythms). For a while this was the only edition available of the Solo Sonatas but now there is a relatively new Henle edition which is better. Misprints have been fixed and it has also been designed...

Absolutely rewarding
These sonatas are some of the most challenging pieces for the violin. However, Ysaye wrote them in a very comfortable way because he himself was a tremendous violinist. A must in any professional violinist's repetoire!
