One of the most useful and accurate editions I have come across. The facsimile in the back is excellent as a cross reference, and the bowings and fingerings are the most logical and sophisticated that I have found, having used several editions in preparation for performances. Excellent work
Ivan Galamian's edition of the Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin Unaccompanied S.1001-1006 is excellent in every way. Most enlightening for this student is the availability of the facimilie of the orgiinal in Bach's own hand. Galamian's suggested bowings and fingerings are helpful in their own stead.
