Simply Brubeck
Accessible, simple, but not trivial by any means, I['m haveing a lot of fun trying out these well-crafted pieces by one of my all time favorite jazz musicians. The "Two Part Adventures" book is equally fine.

Weak arrangements
The arrangements in this volume were weak because they do not follow the form correctly and the voicings don't sound authentic. For instance, the introduction to Take Five is only two bars long - not enough time to establish the groove. The arrangements are supposed to be "easy" level, but...

Brubeck Works It Out!
