Delighted to able to play a simplified version of favorites even though I'm just a beginner. The pieces not only reinforce what I'm learning in the lesson book, but extend the lessons somewhat. It's valuable to move around the keyboard a little more.However, I was disappointed that when I bought Faber's Adult Piano adventures Classics at the same time, there was a lot of overlap. A few are exactly identical; for those that have slightly different versions this book is easier.I would have preferred for all the pieces to be unique (in the adventure series).

I give this a higher score due to the teacher duet feature. As a teacher, I found this book very accessible for students introduction to the classical repertoire. I even record us performing it on my cell phone and send it to the parents! Everyone loves it! (Note: As the books progress to next levels in Faber there are fewer duets which is understandable as the student content is richer. So enjoy them while you can!)
