Great beginner songs!
As a piano teacher, I have noted that the songs in most beginning lesson books are very boring. What motivates kids to practice is being able to play beautiful music! Although the entire book is not exciting, three songs are worth purchasing the book: Pachelbel's Canon, Vivaldi's Spring, and Mahler's Theme from Symphony No. 1 which is "Frere Jacques" played in a minor key! My kids love these songs. They also like playing duets, and it's nice to have a teacher part at the bottom.
