Sevicik for Cello Opus 3

This is a wonderful exercise book for bowing technique. But it's not a collection of etudes. It's melodic and the variations are inventive. When you order, make sure you get FOR CELLO, because Opus 3 was originally for violin. The cover of the books look almost exactly alike.

Excellent exercises for bowing practice.

My teacher had me buy this as I was having trouble with controlling the bow on certain passages. This set of variations begins with simple bowing but quickly moves into more difficult passages that demand lots of practice to master the particular bowing skill.
