Not even close

I have to say that this book revels to be a huge work, but it doesn´t mean that it´s a serious one. The problem, for sure, isn´t about technical matters. It´s within the music itself. Any curiuos or rigorous guitar player will see that the notes don´t match with the ones played by Dimebag in the Pantera videos. They don´t match in placement (which is important to playing economy) and they REALLY don´t match at all. The person who did this can be working person (because it´s a huge work)but sincerely lacks of hearing compreension and doesn´t work with the appropriate sources(such as music videos). Sincerely, it´s a wast of time and money - Do it yourself!

In all fairness.

I almost feel bad for the Japanese guy took the time to transcribe the giutar, bass and drums in this book as it must have taken him ages to do this and he did a heaps better job than i ever could. BUT, you would have thought he would have at least researched some other pantera material out there. Example: "Walk" Even average guitar players usually pick up that the main riff consists of bending the note. This guy does not pick up. All in all, if you are seriouse about learning these songs this book is still a good "guide" to learning many parts. For a top Pantera book buy the "Guitar World Riffer Madness". Additional: Am I the only one that thinks if a tab book boasts as being an "official book" shouldnt it at least be breifly checked and approved by the artist before print? what does "official tab" really mean?

Terribly inaccurate

This is the worst tab book I've ever seen. The rhythm stuff is noticebly off and the solos are a joke. They're not even close.

adequate

these tabs aren't as bad as these guys say. they sound like the cd. the rythms are okay but the tab of the guitar solos might be a little off.the book has bass and drum tabs, i guess its a good deal for whats in it and for the price. but over all i wouldn't say its a horrible book. its okay.

Not very good.

Alot of the drum parts are wrong as well. Some of them are way off the mark.

Very Poor

The tabs look hand writen, some which I couldn't make out, most of the songs haven't been tabbed fully missing out most of the chords and notes for guitar. This is the worst tab book I've bought, only buy it if you are a bassist or singer cause thats the only things that were right (unless the drums were right, cant read drums though :) )

The thing sucks.

The person who said this book was "killer" probably didn't even look at the thing. Some of the tabs are ok but you can still see a lot of errors.

horrid

This book is almost completely wrong -- the only decent thing are the songs they picked. Don't buy -- I trust internet tabs from a retarded monkey more.
